Background: Our lake community has a rich history.  One that is well worth preserving.  Additionally, many of the homes on Bay Lake are passed down from earlier generations.  It is in our own best interest to document the many stories that make up our Bay Lake history.

Goals & Objectives:
1.  Create an awareness of our historical roots by including history submissions in each issue of the Breezes.  Vary the content from “pioneers” such as the Knieffs and Millers to long time institutions such as Hansen’s Store to individual property owners.

2. Coordinate Shoreline History Projects.

3. Compile special interest presentations (ie. Bay Lake History 101, Boats, Schools, Resorts) for posting on BayLake.org.
